Ben & Jerry’s Selects Tortal to Create its Online Corporate University
Homemade Ice Cream Franchisor Chooses Tortal to Create Online Training Programs

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA 11/11/2008: Tortal Inc., the leading provider of online training portals and eLearning in the franchise industry announced today that Ben & Jerry’s, which operates its business on a three-part Mission Statement emphasizing product quality, economic reward and a commitment to the community, has selected Tortal to create, develop, and manage its online corporate university.

Ben & Jerry’s, a Vermont corporation and wholly-owned subsidiary of Unilever will deploy Tortal’s Learning Management System to host custom online training modules for use by Ben & Jerry’s franchisees.
